HAREKET TRANSPORTS 250-TONNE YACHT

The transportation of a 32-metre-long, 12-metre-high yacht weighing 250 tonnes in Tuzla/Istanbul was successfully undertaken by experts from the company Hareket. A 16-axle Faymonville ModulMAX including power pack, which gave the combination additional drive power, was used for the 10-kilometre route. The Turkish company Hareket has been relying on Faymonville vehicles from the modular sector for many years, including flatbed trailers for XXL wind turbine blades and semi low loaders with a high payload. Hareket is one of the key protagonists internationally in the field of heavy and large volume transport. With headquarters in Istanbul, the company operates in Eurasia, the Middle East and Africa.

For the safe transport of flat glass, the inloader fleet of the Italian Lannutti Group will be replaced in the next few years by 400 vehicles from the FloatMAX series. This large contract underlines the trust held by the company owner, Valter Lannutti, in the vehicles made by the renowned manufacturer. „For our forward-looking and ambitious corporate philosophy, reliable and technically sophisticated transport vehicles are essential. That is precisely why we appreciate the FloatMAX inloaders from Faymonville – they meet all our requirements.“ The Lannutti Group acquired its first Faymonville inloader back in 1993. The fleet grew continuously over the years to approximately 1,500 vehicles.

Three WingMAX flatbed trailers for XXL wind turbine blades were delivered to TH. Giannakos Cranes Special Trans in Greece. An expert from Faymonville was on site in Karditsa to give the team comprehensive training and explain all the functions of the WingMAX. With an overall length of around 70 metres, the WingMAX is specially designed for the longest rotor blades in the world. The hydraulic lifting and lowering system as well as the pendle-axle technology ensure maximum flexibility and optimal manoeuvrability on narrow or bendy roads. The sturdy design and precise control make the vehicle ideal for demanding wind energy logistics. The new equipment makes Giannakos ready to further expand the wind energy infrastructure in Greece.
